New to the school, and happy! My daughter was at the same place from 5mo until we moved recently, and since she changed schools I have seen a positive change in how she leaves each day! Never before has she consistently, unprompted, chosen to make sure she says “Bye everybody!” to each class and person as we leave. It brings a smile to my face to see her connected with new friends and staff alike.

I appreciate the daily communication between myself, as the parent, and my child's teacher. It allows for continuous support and growth of my baby at home and daycare. Overall my babies have fun with playing, painting, singing, and dancing. I trust and appreciate their teachers and staff.

This place is amazing, the staff here is incredible and really helpful. Everyone is always so friendly and has a smile when they greet you.

The staff are extremely welcoming and caring. The care they give to their students is amazing and the curriculum is very engaging for the staff and the students.

I like this place because it has a code to get in the building and everytime you walk in everyone greets you. I love that all the teachers love and care about the children.A shout to Mrs. Tere, she makes the best food. My kids loves her food.

Want to shout out to Children’s Choice in Escondido for their amazing staff and such caring and loving teachers. They have so many programs to help out parents to get their child into daycare and truly have such an amazing curriculum for the students. Give it a shot you won’t regret it.

I have my 18month baby girl here and it’s been amazing experience. My daughter has grown so much emotionally and socially since she started here. We’ve only been here since March and her language skills have been so good. She’s able to communicate with me and others. The environment of the center is wonderful and so welcoming. The teachers are amazing with my daughter. They’re patient, fun and loving! I highly recommend this center for day care for your family. There is always fun activities and themes every week here.

My 4-year-old has been attending this wonderful program for two years now, and the growth and development I've seen in him have been remarkable. The teachers here are not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring, creating a nurturing environment where my child feels supported and valued. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that parents are kept in the loop with regular updates and open communication. The variety of engaging activities and creative themes keeps my child both excited and eager to participate. Whether it's a new craft project, a themed learning day, or interactive play, there's always something fun and educational happening.

CCA in Chula Vista is the best! The environment is awesome, super friendly. The staff along with the directors are simply amazing!!

For the past three years, my kid has attended CCA. I have witnessed a significant improvement in both his social and academic abilities since he began. The teachers here take a great interest in the education of the students and have a practice of remembering the names of all the students, even those who are not enrolled in their class. When I've had a query or issue, Ms. Roxanne and Ms. Brenda have always been incredibly understanding, courteous, and responsive.

Staff is amazing. Brenda, Roxanne, Ms. Brooklyn and Ms. Kristen are such genuine souls, that always put these kids first. I love the environment. I love the vibe. There are so many cool learning rooms. We are very happy to be there.

Children’s Choice Academy has been great for our daughter. Especially Ms. Melanie and Ms. Shellee’s class. Our daughter blossomed in their class. We saw improvement in the way she socialized with her peers and her speech exploded. I am grateful for CCA and so thankful to Ms. Melanie and Ms. Shellee for their work to give their kiddos the best possible learning environment.

Children’s Choice Academy has some of the best caring teachers! They love and care for our children. I love that they use the portal a lot and send pictures throughout the day. I also love that the provide transportation to school!! Literally life savers! During summer they do tons of fun activities for the kiddos and during the school year they help with homework or subjects kids are falling behind on. Thank you for all that you do for our little ones, we appreciate you all!

I have had children at CCA since 2018.

My daughter started attending when she was 3.5, so that she could get use to a classroom setting and structure. My daughter had Miss Amber, and she was / still is one of the most caring teachers there. She knew the anxiety and uncertainty my daughter had about leaving me, and Amber always took the extra time to comfort her and make sure she felt safe. CCA helped prepare her for a school like routine, and taking instruction from someone else besides me and my husband/her dad. My daughter was advanced for her age, so our main priority was to have her be around kids her age and prepare herself for going to school full time.

My son started when he was 2.5, due to him needing to be around other children his age to help with his speech delay. He has flourished in the year and a half he has been there. He is able to take the bus to and from CCA to his speech classes each week. He is cared for and gets the patient attention he needs when he finds it difficult to communicate. He has learned what it is like to be in a classroom setting, with lessons and structure. He barley spoke when he first started attending, and now he is almost to his age level with speech. Last year my son transitioned classes and Miss Liz became his new teacher. The bond they share is indescribable. He runs and screams her name to greet her, He is always talking about her, wanting to show her the things he did at home and bring them to school for her, and really is her shadow. Liz took the time to bond with my son, to get to know my husband and myself, understand the needs our son has, and takes extra time to work with him to help him progress. I cannot say enough good things about Liz, and we truly will be sad to leave CCA come the new school year when my son goes to kindergarten.

Last year they went through staffing changes, and I can say it has been a game changer. The teachers that are currently there are friendly, take the time to greet you if they are outside, and are always giving the children attention. You can tell that Shannon has always wanted the best for the kids, and will do what she needs to in order to make that happen. I can't imagine my kids going / being anywhere else, or trust them to be anywhere else.

We love Children’s Choice Vista and Ms Kristyn. We moved our little boy from another school where he just didn’t feel right, that changed as soon as we moved him to this school. He now looks forward to going to school every morning and always talks about Ms Kristyn and his friends in class. I highly recommend this school.

We’ve have such a wonderful experience at children’s choice academy for our 2-year-old! The environment is warm and welcoming, and it’s clear how much care and attention the staff puts into making sure the children feel safe and happy. A special shoutout to Jackie and Perla, who have been absolutely amazing with our little one. They are patient, kind, and always go the extra mile to ensure every day is fun and educational. We couldn’t ask for a better team to look after our child. Highly recommend!

I am extremely happy at Children's Choice Academy my co workers have made my first 3 months incredible. I’ve been with Children Choice for 6 months now and it makes me happy to see the growth since I started . The teachers and directors really care for the children & families. I appreciate working with our friendly staff that has strong leadership skills and supportive directors. The communication app is awesome giving families daily updates through out their child’s day and being able to send a quick message or friendly reminders. I want to give our elephants teachers a shout out going above and beyond for our infants! Thank you Kristen & Jessica for all that you do! The babies are so loved 🙂

Would like to start by saying this is one of the best experiences I've had with daycare in my entire parenthood. I have a 12 and 9 year old that went through dayvare at different locations and hands down Children's Chioce has been a blessing to and for my family. Special thanks to Ms Perla, Ms Jackie, Ms Jessica and Ms Kristin for the wonderful job they do with my children. They have learned and grown so much through their guidance and care. We had to find child care at a moments notice and children’s choice academy was there! They are very helpful and communicative. I Receive updates via app. I am on deployment in the Middle East and I can still see how my child is doing and how his day was! The staff is kind and caring for our baby boy! Thank you for all you do!!! Highly recommend!

Ms Kristin and Ms Jessica are excellent communicators and are extremely gentle with my 7-month-old. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Children's Choice in Vista. Most importantly, I appreciate receiving updates throughout the day with pictures and knowing that he is properly taken care of. It makes me feel better every time I drop him off. The staff is responsive and caring, resulting in a safe environment. I definitely suggest this daycare to other parents looking for a nurturing, creative environment for their children!

We are so thankful for Children’s Choice Academy-Vista! With this being my first baby, I was very nervous about returning to work and placing our son in daycare. All of the staff have made the transition seamless and I love how I receive updates and pictures all throughout the day! It brings me peace of mind to know I can check my app to see how his day has been. My son gets to participate in sensory play and works on meeting his developmental milestones, which is all very important to this new mama! We highly recommend this location 🙂

My daughter, has been attending for over 6 years. She absolutely loves going to Children's Choice each and every day. Throughout the years she has had some of the most caring and attentive teachers she has ever known. The centers are completely up-to-date with amazing events for the children during the holidays and summer!!! I highly recommend any of the Children's Choice learning centers throughout East County!

We love miss Myra and the school in general. Our daughter is happy to go there every day and comes home in a good mood. She is learning so much and we can see her improvement.

I love that the center is a family vibe. I connected with so many different teachers, ones that my son didn’t even necessarily interact with. It’s just full of a bunch of loving people! And I truly believe that any business is only as great as the people who run it. All of the artwork that I got monthly was super advanced from what he had previously done… So I really appreciate the one-on-one time and effort given. My son always was so happy to be there and wanted to bring things for his teachers and friends. Great job Children’s Choice Academy keep up the good work!

CCA has been great to work with and is always on top of providing the best individualized care for our child. The attentive staff, clear and concise schedules, and overall security has made us very comfortable placing our child here to grow and learn. They are fun and friendly and offer so many activities throughout the year so the kids are always entertained. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been attending this daycare/school since she was 18 months and I have to say that this past year since she’s been here has been far beyond my expectations. She’s learned so, so much and has had amazing teachers. Ms. Mayra is amazing very attentive and patient with all her students and communicative with us parents. And Ms. Yendy is very loving and kind one of the sweetest teachers I’ve met my daughter loves her and her other teachers. All the activities that they do for the students shows that they put great effort for the students to enjoy learning and having fun!!! She’s happy attending here and as am I.

We love children’s choice! They have truly been amazing to my family. My son had a febrile seizure for the first time while at the school and all of the teachers handled the situation perfectly and continued to check on him for days after. I love to watch all the things my little one has learned while being there.

I truly recommend children’s choice academy my daughter enroll since she was 2 yrs old and we loved it ! The staff is super professional and lovely with the children. If you are looking for a day care this is your best option

My 4month old son loves it here. He always come home smiling. Everyone is nice and helpful. They give me a schedule of what my son did all day. He's even on a good sleeping schedule now. I love it here would recommend to anyone.

My daughter started here when she was 3 months old and she's been there for over 6 months now. Her teachers are all pretty great, especially Gaby and Judith, my daughter likes them and I feel comfortable as a first time mom leaving my baby with them. They write down everything they do each day and when I pick up my baby I get a slip that tells me when and what she ate, how long she slept, when they do art or go outside. They even had a picture day, which I hear other daycares don't do. The building is secure, the front door is unlocked by each parent's individual code. I'd love if they eventually had an app or website where I can get picture updates throughout the day. But honestly it's the only thing I wish they would do different. Also the parking lot is a little tight, but not really a huge issue.

It is a great option for taking care of your children, the facilities are very good and the staff are very careful with the children and they always have many activities.

I get notifications during the day on my cell phone of learning, snack, naps and pictures of my child. The teachers take care and are amazing. My toddler loves her teachers and all of the friends she has made. She gets upset when it's the weekend and school is closed!

I have been incredibly pleased with how my son has been taken care of by the staff. They made his transition back into a daycare setting smooth and eased my momma heart.

Children’s choice academy is a wonderful school. My son really love it here. They have a wonderful staff, full of caring, patient, loving, understanding, and compassionate people. I definitely wouldn’t send my child anywhere else.

I have been using childrens choice in Lakeside for about the last 8 years. I even moved out of lakeside but chose to keep a job near by to keep my babies in their daycare. I love Betty in the baby room (we call her grandma after so many years) and all other staff. I have watched some of these fine ladies grow into amazing people. Kristen puts up with me and loves me too! I am a difficult parent to deal with but from day one I have always gotten daily pictures, play by plays of their days, and any questions answered that I need. When considering a daycare, I would pick this location time and time again .

Shannon and the staff are amazing! My son has been going to this location of Children's Choice since he was three months old and now he is almost 15 months old and he loves going there! I love the variety of activities they have for him everyday and the care they give him. The staff is very professional and kind and they always are happy to answer any questions that I have.

This is an amazing place. I have had my daughter there since she was 2 and she is now going into 1st grade. They always make sure the kids are clean, happy and well taken care of. They will make the kids breakfast, lunch, snacks and if chr is still there late enough they will make them something for dinner time. All kids have individual cots for nap time and separate cups to drink from when old enough for cups.

My daughter was lucky to be able to spend the first 18 months at home with her first baby. When she had to look for a daycare for her son, she wasn’t sure of a home daycare or a preschool/daycare. She decided on a preschool/daycare. After having one fail after two days of attending, she found Children’s Choice, which was down the street from the failed daycare facility. I toured the daycare along with my daughter and grandson and talked to Shannon, the director. She answered all our questions and was very understanding of our concerns since my grandson had a bad couple of days at the other daycare. He started the following Monday and has now been attending for 18 months. The entire staff has been awesome and have treated my grandson like their own. He recently has been potty trained, just 2 weeks now, and they have been on top of it with him and he’s doing great now. They feed them breakfast, snacks, lunch, and snack again. They all take naps at the same time, which is amazing how they get all the kids on the same routine. This place is awesome and the staff are wonderful. I feel completely comfortable having my grandson attend The Childrens Choice Academy.

My kids have gone to Children's Choice Academy on Woodside Ave for 2 years. They absolutely love going to school and love their teachers. We are made to feel like we are all part of a family and it feels good to go to work knowing that my littles are loved and cared for. They have all kinds of fun events. And lastly, this is not a daycare, this is a preschool that teaches kids, not just academically, but socially and I would recommend you check it out for yourself.

Deciding for my child to go to CCA is literally one of the best decisions I have made when it comes to her care, learning and overall development. She isn’t much of a talker but since she started going to CCA I have noticed drastic improvements in her speech. Whether it be her name she is saying or even the names of her classmates or teachers she is starting to get into the habit of talking more. Which is GREAT!! 👏🏼 we also love the fact that all meals are provided..especially when on hectic mornings of walking out the door late and not having to worry about breakfast since it is included in the program. I strongly recommend Children’s Choice Academy to any parent that wants their child to be in a loving caring safe environment while also new and fun things every day ! P.S. The staff are AMAZING ! the director Shannon is an sweetheart and really truly cares about each and every single child. 💜❤️💗👍

My kids started here in August 2019 and where previously at another Children’s Choice! I have to say we absolutely love it here! My son is in the owl room and Ms. Shantelle is his absolute favorite teacher and has learned so much! My daughter is in school-age and really enjoys it there! Mrs. Shannon is fabulous and is a great director and runs a great preschool!!! Thank you ladies!!!

My godson has been going here for a couple years now and honestly I don’t think we could have picked a better place for him to transition into the school mentality. The staff is wonderful and so patient with the children.

My Great nephew attends this learning center. He is happy and is thriving. They have friendly staff and the operation hours are perfect for our family’s schedule.

This is a long over due review! This is a great place, has great staff, and an director! It’s hard to find a good daycare and really feel comfortable about people watching your kids. Both of of my kids have been going here since they were 3 months (now 6yrs and 3yrs). All the staff is great and both of my kids love going there. Shannon, the director, is awesome. She takes all concerns seriously and works with you. She makes sure the place is running as smooth as possible.

Let's be honest we write reviews mainly when were upset so don't give too much credit to the misinformed disgruntled people. The director is amazing and while the school is secure they're also happy to provide tours to interested parents so don't be afraid to check it out if all of us long term happy parents aren't enough of a suggestion. My kids have loved it here since day one and I often find myself thanking the teachers for being an additional parent while this single mom is away working! No where else has ever felt as much like home and we couldn't sing their praises enough!

I've trusted the care of all 3 of my kids here. They are constantly changing the themes to keep it exciting. My kids learn new things daily and are excited for school daily. They're fed nutritiously, and incident reports are always written for any ouchies as well as communicated immediately which is more than I can say for the district schools!

My granddaughters Brooklynn and Aspynn love it there. Brooklynn looks forward to seeing her friends everyday. Aspynn seem to be thriving and enjoying her time. When we picked them up the teachers were very welcoming and very engaged in playtime also very helpful. Thank you to the gals that help our granddaughters happy to go to school.

Theyve helped raised my son for going on 5 years and have done so excellent conpared to other nursery in lakesie are understaffed and the other one on main Street the old funeral house kicked are baby out wen he was 6 months old.. Children’s Choice Academy is an amazing school with very talented teachers and support staff. Mrs. Sam that runs the TK program is wonderful with the kids, has curriculum based lesson plans and is very involved with the families. We can’t say enough wonderful things about her!

My niece attends this child care. At first I had my concern because she would cry so much but now she is always happy, has learned so much and loves her teachers! I would recommend this child care to new mommies! This is definitely a place where new mommies can have a peace of mind that their baby is in good hands.

Love this school! My daughter started in the school age program this summer and it has been such a great experience for my very shy kiddo. She has really come out of her shell. The curriculum is engaging, with a great balance of learning and play that keeps our little one excited to go every day. The preschool has a nice campus with great teachers who make the learning environment fun. I absolutely love the different activities the center puts on as well. Expanding and creating more and more opportunities for the kids to develop teamwork skills and to grow. Would recommend!!!!

Amazing place! My daughter is almost 3 yo and she`s been attending this daycare for almost one year! Didn`t really have any issues. wonderful stuff. Her teacher Ms Yendy is the best! very professional and sweet. My daughter comes home saying thank you and please and you're welcome. She did not learn it at home because we speak different language mostly. She learned so much i am amazed! I love that they use procare app and i get pictures and notifications all the time what she eats and when she sleeps etc. They do a lot of art work. Other teachers Ms Kelly, MsJessica, Ms Carrie. Ms Johely, are very professional and super loving. Everyone always looks so happy like in Disneyland. Food is ok. I wish we would have an option to bring lunch sometimes, but i understand it would be unfair for other kids. Initially it supposed to be our waiting spot for another school but stayed because we love it.

Teachers are great people and they grow connections with the kids and my daughters love there teachers they’re so happy showing up to school

I absolutely LOVE Sandra and her team. My daughter has been going here since she was about 8 months she is almost 15 months old they all love her like she is their own. They absolutely love what they do and it shows. Every single one of them are so friendly and they genuinely care about their milestones and share in that excitement. My 6 year old also went here over the summer he still talks about the friends he made and the staff. He wasn't in the school district to stay. I don't normally trust day-cares BUT I would recommend this place to EVERYONE!

Children’s choice Woodside is like family. I wouldn’t want my kids at any other school.

My family loves this location! We are going on two years and couldn’t be happier! The director, Amber, is always working hard & there anytime we have any questions. She is new at the position but she is doing amazing! The teachers are all the sweetest. They treat our children like their own. My son has Miss Liz & Miss Janet and he adores them. They are both so attentive & update us through the app throughout the day.

I've had the pleasure of being at children's , starting with my oldest daughter 8 years ago. It is such a comforting feeling having the same director, Shannon Spencer over the years. She truly puts children first, and loves them like her own. Their are so many great staff members at children's choice and they all spend their day taking care of kiddos just to go home and take care of their own. I have to recognize Ms. Liz who goes above and beyond for the little ones. Has great open communication with my able my son and truly wants whats best for him. Ms. Gia, my daughter's teacher so creative with the school ages and eager help get the homework done. Ms. Janet, so soft, sweet, kind with her class which my son is also in. Of course Ms. Amber works her way around the daycare taking care of all areas. I never have to hesitate if I need to mention something to her I can talk to her.

My kiddos love going here, they do before and afterschool activities, crafts and they help with homework and also provide them yummy snacks.

Awesome experience here-teachers are wonderful, they really care and love the children. There’s a chef on site that makes delicious and nutritious snacks and meals. The staff is always doing fun activities and events for the families and they always keep you up to date during the day through an app. Amazing school all around.

I have two kids in this school. Almost 2 and 3.5. Absolutely love the teachers. The director we have is like a week old. Not sure if that’s typical for preschool but we have had a handful of directors since January. I’m hoping this one stays because my kids love their teachers. Miss Ale and Miss Angie in the frogs class (3s) great my daughter like if she were their own daughter. Communication is on an app. We get pictures and updated throughout the day. Sometimes not in same time but it is helpful and puts my momma heart at ease. Miss Sandra is the teacher in the honeybees (18 mo+) and my son loves her. All the teachers and he’s hers aides are so nice and patient.

Great school! It’s very clean and the teachers are great. Procare is a great app to communicate with teachers and parents.

I’m super particular about where my kids attend school or any type of care, and this place makes me feel so good about leaving my kid. The teachers are so incredibly sweet, I love how they update us throughout the day thru their app. My kid seems happy when he is there. They do lots of activities, and even have a turtle for the kids to watch from behind a gate. These teachers make me feel as tho my kid is safe and well taken care of. I couldn’t recommend Children’s Choice more.

CCA Vista is a great learning environment! Teachers send updates through the procare app all day to let you know how your little one’s day is going! The children love all the animals! The kiddos get so excited when they see the chickens and tortoise while playing outside. Shout out to all the amazing teachers!

We moved to CCA to follow our favorite teachers that left our last daycare. CCA has been so great for our daughter. They incorporate lots of play and learning. They also have an amazing outdoor play area with a tortoise and chickens. Most of the time my daughter doesn’t even want to leave. Ms. Perla and Ms. Jackie are so attentive to what my daughter needs to thrive. Everyone is very communicative and I couldn’t be happier.

My daughter loves going to school and loves her teachers. I love receiving updates on my daughter throughout the day. They are all so nurturing and welcoming. The playground and classrooms are great for exploring, learning, and playing. We love Ms. Yoselin and Ms. Kayla!

This has been a great place for our 2 year old son so far. He has learned so much in such a short period of time and the daily pictures/updates we get of him through out the day are absolutely the best part. Mrs. Sandra, Ms. Jackie, and Ms. Perla are the best teachers.

We just had an end of summer bbq with the kids and families. It was so fun ! There was a kids Dj and the kids loved dancing around. I enjoyed meeting all the families and watching the kids play together. Also the playground is huge and has a huge tortoise and some chickens for the kids! Great learning environment 😊 …

My children have been coming to Children's Choice for 4 years! They came to us as foster kids and they had some behavioral needs Each and every teacher at Children's Choice has worked wonderfully in helping me and my children to live our best lives. We love Miss Jenny and Miss Vai and all the folks that work with them!!

I love the staff at this location, they are loving and supportive. My kids look forward to hanging out after school and on their school breaks. If they have homework, they are able to get help on that too. The field trips during summer were awesome!

My baby loves going to school and loves his teachers. He has made so many friends and he tells me every day that he loves the food. 😆 I’m so thankful that my little dude has a fun and safe place to learn and play while I work. I feel at ease knowing he is well taken care of during his time there.

The school is very good, they have fun and entertaining activities, my niece has a great time when she goes to school and her teacher is very nice, they teach them many things and in a good way, I totally recommend for your little ones, they will enjoy it a lot.

I only want the best for my daughters, especially for my 1yr old baby because she can’t explain how her day was, but all the staff at children’s choice academy earn my trust and I feel stress free knowing my baby is on great hands, I get a full report of my baby’s day when I pick her up and I can see they are never understaffed so I know my daughter is getting the attention she needs. Great place!

My son has been attending here for almost 3 years. And since his time there has been a transition and update to ownership but they were fantastic in keeping it as current to the learning curriculum and scheduling for the kids. As a single parent who is active duty, I’m very grateful to trust the school and his amazing teachers (currently miss Liz) in watching my son in my schedule. There’s not a day my son doesn’t love going to school and that leaves me happy knowing my son is learning and having a great time doing so. Also for those active duty families, they are happy to email photos during deployment of your child at school.

After hearing all good things about Children’s Choice Academy I finally switched my two kids over. I absolutely love everything they have to offer. My one year old who usually cries when I drop her off has not cried once when dropping her off. It shows me how much she loves it and how comfortable she is here. My two year old absolutely loves it and tells me how much fun she has.

Excellent location, the facility and centers are in perfect condition, love all the activities especially how they teach the kids how to grow their own veggies!! All the teachers are very lovely and friendly, definitely a 10/10

My son has been very happy here. The teachers are always friendly and attentive, he is always playing happily when I pick him up, and he naps better here than at our previous daycare. He comes home in a good mood and worn out from a busy day of playing. I also appreciate the military discount. I’m glad we found this daycare when we moved to the area.

Children’s choice academy is a fantastic option for your daycare needs. I have a 7yr old autistic boy that is nonverbal and this has been the best decision for his care. I love the staff, they do different activities and he has shown so much progress while being there. He loves going everyday which is a plus for him! I highly recommend!

The staff is very friendly and professional. The school follows an agenda that allows your child to learn as they participate in a myriad of fun activities. They also teach your child good communication and team skills. Along with all that their teacher to student ratio is great because there are plenty of teachers, so that one teacher is not overseeing a lot of children at once. I am lucky my son goes here.

Our daughter loves her teachers at children’s choice. They are very accommodating to our daughters dietary needs. Our daughter is always excited to go to daycare.

I've been taking my now 5 month old (she's started at 3 months) for a littl while now and its has been a wonderful experience. They care for her very well and always keep me to update very day with her feedings, naps and diapers changes. They make sure she has everything she needs and when she is running low on supplys they always tell me ahead of time which is helpful for me. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

My 3 year old has been attending since she was 18 months old and she LOVES her teachers, her friends, and all the structure and fun things she gets to do everyday. Their reliability is next to none and the long hours available are super helpful for my crazy work schedule.

Today is lillians last day of daycare. It's been amazing getting to know those ladies. They are amazing and sweet and love Lillian and have taken such great care of her. They helped her learn and grow so much. Its sad to say goodbye to them but I will always be thankful for all they have done. We will miss them lots. Children's choice academy has been amazing for these past 4 years they have had lilly. Thank you. Through all her issues and accidents and the distance learning. Its been a rough go but I can not thank these ladies enough. She went from ladybugs to monsters in what seems like a flash

We love Children's Choice Academy. Our toddler daughter loves going every weekday. She always looks forward to seeing Miss "Nancy", Miss "Mana", Miss "Kris kris". She gives them hugs hello and hugs goodbye. To me, that says a lot about the staff and all they do for her and all the kids. I also love the fact that they open at 6:00 AM, which works perfectly with our work schedule. They are also one of the most affordable daycares we found which includes Breakfast, Snack, Lunch and one more Snack. This is very helpful to us too. We thank Children's Choice Academy for all they do.

This review is way overdue! I originally enrolled my daughter at 18 months at another daycare/preschool (under a national chain). She was only there for 6 weeks before I pulled her out and sent her back to grandparents to watch during the day. You can tell from her photos at that time that she was just not her normal happy self. I was worried we would go through the same thing when I started to look at daycare/preschools when she turned 3. On my first visit to CCA, I met Amber (one of the teachers) and just got a really good feeling from the place. The teachers and Shannon definitely worked with us through my daughter’s adjustment period (which they made very easy). When I picked her up each day, sometimes she would not want to leave because of the play time or art she was working on. She would sing the whole way home and was her normal happy self. My now 4 year old has been attending CCA for just over a year now. She has learned so much from CCA. They provide a structure and routine for her that will prepare her to start school In the next couple of years. My husband and I love this place and will be enrolling her little brother in just a few months! A side note, we live in El Cajon and work in La Mesa and San Diego. While this location is close to grandparents, it’s out of the way for us. But we love Shannon and all the teachers here so much that we can’t imagine sending them anywhere else.

Could not say more good things about this school. The teachers really care and that is not always the case.

CCA is a wonderful daycare, especially if you are a working parent. The caretakers are a great group of people. Food is provided as well! Kids have lots of age appropriate toys to play with. The teachers interact with the kids in a very loving and caring way. I would recommend anyone looking for a daycare to check CCA for availability.-

My oldest son started Children's choice Academy the summer of 2015. The director , Shannon is awesome. The staff are so great! When I first started bringing my oldest there , I was a little guarded due to the previous daycare we had been to wasn't who I thought they were. After a couple weeks I was not so worried and weeks turned into months and now both my boys attend Children;s Choice Academy and the staff are more like family. They love my boys as if they were their own. Every morning when I kiss my boys and see them off to Children's Choice Academy , I know they are in good hands... they are in their extended family's hands. Thank you Children's Choice Academy !!!!

Putting my kids in daycare was challenging for me since I was fortunate even for grandmas to help since my 3 year old was born. I am overly satisfied with the care they provide. You can tell all the staff are passionate about their line of work. They are caring and have exceeded my expectations, especially the infant room!!

What ultimately made me look into children’s choice academy on wood side was: As opposed to other facilities I toured, this one provided name brand formula for my infant (I don’t have to bring it)and food all day! I save so much a month in this area alone since they’ve been attending here. Also, other facilities (even other children’s choices) requires us to take our sheets, and water bottles homes to wash weekly, this facility goes ABOVE and washes them themself weekly (yes I see them doing it!) Saving my mom brain from forgetting another thing on Monday morning.

Oh and they’re open 5 days a week 6:30a-6:30pm!!! They have age appropriate toys and activities in each room. My 2year year old is thriving, coming home each day sharing how much fun she had, singing the new songs and showing me her crafts!

Compared to other places we tried and hearing my friends challenging times with daycare, I am confident in saying this facility is the best choice I could have made!

Great place. This review is long over due. A year ago I was looking for daycare for my 4 y/o and stumbled upon this gem. I did my research and although apprehensive, because let's face it I'm leaving my daughter with total strangers! I gave this place a shot. I've been through other day cares before with my previous kids and none compare to this one. My daughter developed a close relationship with Miss. Chantelle, and I can't thank her enough for the care and love she showed my baby. Not only did I learn to trust this place, but I also came to appreciate it. I was amazed at how much my daughter was learning, and how happy she was being there. Even now that she's in kindergarten and no longer needs daycare, she continues to ask when she'll go back. Thank you to the Owl classroom for making this parent at ease, and thank you Miss. Chantelle for showing Olivia so much more than was expected. I never once had an issue and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for more than just a daycare.

I can not say enough good things about children’s choice. Two of my kids went here since they were babies. We recently moved out of the state, and my kids both miss their teachers so much and still talk about them all the time. They care for your kids like they are their own and really take the time to get to know not only your children, but you. I always enjoyed talking to every single one of the teachers especially....ms.Krysta and ms.Amber. They became like family:) and me and the kids will be stopping in to visit them every time we come home to visit. Recommend them 100% . Your kids will be in good hands at children’s choice:)

It is difficult to find a daycare. I thank the teachers who take great care of the children and I see how they teach the children a lot. I also like that you need a code to enter the school.

I love this nursery very much. The teachers take good care of the children and are super friendly. Every day they greet you and from seeing how they teach the children I see how the students learn. From babies and older children. They also have care after school if you are busy, my granddaughter is with Ms. Diana and I like how she keeps her classroom very clean and organized, I am really very grateful to her and Ms. Luz for taking care of my granddaughter.

Working for Chikdren’s choice has been amazing. The staff at the Escondido location is so amazing and so supportive. Childrens Choice has been so amazing with my son. I never have to worry about anything happening because i know my son is in great care and supervision. They also k ow how to have fun there, whether it be various spirit days, dressed up guest coming in, and even water days in the summer. They also have programs if needed to help pay for daycare whether it be through YMCA or their own financial program. If you're in the middle of where to send your child for daycare this is your sign to send them here!

I love all staff and so do my kids! I feel safe dropping them off due to the safety code they have at the entrance. Also, peace of mind knowing they will get the attention needed. I love the welcoming environment. Im always rushing so the speedy check in & out is a PLUS. The app used for communication is also neat. I get pictures of my kids throughout the day which is so nice. The BIGGEST issue for me was finding a place where it felt like they were working with me to accommodate my needs and that they were happy to have us. We started my two year old here in November as part time and recently moved him to full time because he is thriving! I don’t think there is a staff member who doesn’t know him by name and greet him when they see him. Everyone is so kind and caring I have no reservations about leaving him in their care. Finding a good daycare can be hard but we are so happy here and couldn’t give higher recommendations!

Started my children here this year 2023. They are so excited to go to school. At first my son was having difficulty adjusting to class but the teacher (Savanah) is so awesome! She discussed plans for school and home on what to work on. the same week, he adjusted so well and ready to go to school everyday!!! Ms. Angie is always at your service and doing great! Childrens Choice Academy is an excellent childcare company with great leadership and staff.. The children are fed delicious meals, well cared for, have time outside and participate in great learning activities. The caregivers are so nice and truly care about each child. Communication with parents is excellent and timely.

I love Childrens choice! My family has 3 kids, and a few other family members and close friends that attend the Woodside ave location. We absolutely love the staff they’re all great and love our kids like their own, and multiple have been there since my oldest, who is almost 3, was a baby, and director has been around since my step son was 6 months old or so, and he’s almost 10! That says a lot for the consistency of the center! Love you all so much 💙💙

My kids have always looked forward to coming to Childrens Choice, we have worked our way from the infant room all the way to school age and every step of the way my kid were loved and cared for. Every staff member loves what they do are are truly passionate about the kids. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone.

Made the move from Los Coaches to Woodside locations and let me tell ya, it was the best move I ever made for my kids. We now have an amazing director who is attentive to detail and always a pleasure to be around. We also have the most amazing teacher for my 3 year old. He is advanced and in the TK class already. Ms. Liz has taught him so much and the communication is the absolute best. I never have to question how he got hurt or who wasn't watching him or doing their job now because in the rare event he falls or getting stung by a bee because he's trying to "save it" , Ms. Liz immediately let's me know. Communication is key and makes a world of difference. All the staff are Woodside have been the best to work with. There is not one teacher I dread seeing. They all treat my kids like they are their own. When I drop off or pick up, it's truly a sense of family. Thankful to have made the change. Wouldn't go back even if you paid me!!

Lot of thought and care goes into this center, so much so that the owner brings in their personal goats for the kids enrichment. Occasional photos of your child are sent, and those are the best. Every holiday has had a theme even for the ones who are 6+ months old. They are always upbeat and positive even when the kids are acting out and needing to be redirected in their behavior aka Charlie bit me mom. I have really enjoyed watching them with my child, and when I’m picking them up they do not want to leave!

When this school opened up so close to our home, we knew we had to check it out. We are so thankful to the wonderful staff at Children's Choice Academy for the enriching experiences they have provided my child. They have animals and gardens on site to teach children about compassion and caring for other beings. The teachers develop tactful lesson plans to ensure that children aren't just being cared for, but are constantly learning through doing. My son has grown so much since attending this school. All of the staff at this facility are so nice and work so hard to make the space comfortable for every individual. my daughter had a tough time after summer vacation and within a couple weeks is cheering when we pull into the driveway.

Children's choice is definitely the top school in the area. My son really enjoys going there. Mrs. Kristin in particular is amazing. She gives him so much care and attention that he always talks about her when he comes home. I would definitely suggest this school to others. Also the app Procare is awesome, I love getting updates and seeing pictures of my son throughout the day.

My grandson loves it here at Children's Choice Academy in Vista. He loves playing outside in the play area and enjoys all the animals they have; especially the tortoise and the chickens. He enjoys doing art projects and always brings something home for us - he always seems to amaze me with his creativity.

As a first time mom with pretty bad anxiety I was so nervous to leave my son with people I didn’t know. The ladies I’ve worked with have done a phenomenal job making me and my partner feel so safe in bringing our son there. The app is so helpful and it’s so comforting seeing pics of my kiddo throughout the day. He has so much fun and the people here are fantastic. Highly recommend!

I love getting updates throughout the day with pictures as well. The staff is attentive and caring, creating a nurturing environment. It is the best preeschool that i could choose for my daugther. The kids have a lot of fun activities. In just 2 months i can see a big improvment in my daugther. All the staff is lovely and my daugther loves it.

This is a very nice facility. All of the teachers are very sweet. There are multiple centers for the students, such as a music room, a dress up room and many more. The playground is huge and overall the school is amazing.

I have my 2 youngest enrolled one Part time (School age) and one full time. Girls have a blast each and every day, staff is very caring and attentive towards kids. While it's hard to leave your kids while working with strangers I honestly think we made the best choice here. Highly recommend.

Love, love, love Children's Choice Academy! I stumbled on this place when we moved to San Diego and they have been instrumental in making my daughter transition to a new school. They include a secured sign-in system, using procare and an easy payment system through a portal. They send out a monthly calendar with events for all ages, plus the monthly meal plan that is INCLUDED in your tuition. I don't have to worry about packing meals and this is huge! Often, my little one has a hard time leaving me, but she is always greeted with open arms by Ms. Whitney ( in the ladybug room) and always helps to transition her into their morning routine. The curriculum is very play-oriented- which children learn best through first-hand experiences—play motivates, stimulates, and supports children in their development of skills, concepts, language acquisition, communication skills, and concentration. During play, children use all of their senses, must convey their thoughts and emotions, explore their environment, and connect what they already know with new knowledge, skills, and attitudes. We have seen a huge improvement in my daughter's communication skills and needs. Plus having a military discount is huge!!! Not to mention the hours that allow for flexibility being in the military!! Thank you for that! Don't hesitate to bring your child here, they will become part of the family 🙂

Children's Choice Academy is the most reasonable and affordable daycare in San Diego. Every other daycare wanted way too much money. At Children's Choice Academy they are flexible with days, payment assistance, and vacation time. Highly recommend this daycare to any and everyone in need of daycare services.

Childrens Choice Academy has been great for my boys. I love all the different activities that are available. I appreciate that they help with potty training. The staff is very friendly and helpful with answering any questions.

My daughter attends Children’s Choice and she loves it. Shes currently in the two year old class. She’s usually pretty excited at drop off and I catch her playing with other kids and having fun in the afternoon for pick up. After trying a different school around the corner and having such a bad experience I was scared I would never find a daycare/school for my 1.5 year old son. I went to children's choice in August of 2018 on a Friday and Shannon was so reassuring that all of the problems we were having at the other school would not be a problem here. My son started that following Monday and has been going there a year and a half now.I absolutely love it and TRUST every single person that is taking care of my son. They all treat him as their own and he loves all of the teachers so much. They always have activities going on, party's for holidays, and feed breakfast lunch and snacks. There are so many amazing things I can say about this school!

Saftey is the top priority at this school which makes us feel great our grandkids attend here. The teachers take the time to get to know the kids and parents. Our grandkids always come home saying they enjoyed their day here and we can tell they are learning a lot of educational skills as well as interpersonal skills which will help them as they continue on in life.

Our 3 grandkids love this school. They have very caring teachers who are knowledgable and communicative, and a director who is actually involved in the most caring wonderful way. We love seeing our grandkids grow at Childrens Choice Academy!

My toddler comes home with new skills every day and my Kindergartener doesn’t even want to come home when I pick her up. We have made lifelong friends here. It is an excellent choice!

The most amazing place I could ever send my child. My daughter LOVES going to school AKA daycare everyday. They do such an amazing job making every child feel special. The teachers are the best of the best....actually everyone there is amazing.

After searching for a daycare, i ran into a couple home daycares that were straight trash, my daughter was 3 months old and i thought hell no i need to find a reliable actual facility that i can trust. I stumbled upon this daycare, back then they were called all about kids- i met shannon the director, i asked her about 30,000 questions and walked the place up and down and immediately fell in love. My daughters been there since she was 3 months old and she is now 4 years old so if that doesnt say something idk what else could. Theyve since been purchased by childrens choice but thankfully they kept the entire staff, my daughters been from the baby room with ms crista and amanda, all the way up. I absolutely love Amber, shannon and all of the girls here. They have taught my baby so much, watched her grow into the little lady she is and i was probably one of the most neurotic hellicopter parent theyve had to deal with (i already know you guys are laughing reading that part😂) but they handle it amazing. I never have to question if my daughter is being taken care of or loved. They love her as if she was their own. Regardless of where i work, where i go, i will continue to keep my baby in this preschool and will most likely use them for before and after care for when she goes to kindergarden because they are the only ones i truly trust to take the best care of her and love her, plus my daughter absolutely loves and adores them. Bottom line- If you want a place you can trust, with amazing teachers who will love, teach and raise your kid like second parents for when you have to work then this is the place. I am completely confident entrusting the care of my kids to all of the staff at Children's Choice. They are always happy to go and even get upset when its closed on the weekends. Not many centers can say their kids enjoy going to that extent!

I want to start by saying I Look at 7 different schools before choosing one to take my children to. I had just moved back to California and was a Stay at home mom but I needed to find a place that I could trust with my 17 month old and 4 year old. Money is extremely tight as a single mom (as many others know)when I first walked into the Preschool I saw Shannon (the director) at the desk and she greeted me with a great smile and was extremely informative and listened to all of my concerns. My Children have now been going here for 6 months and I feel great knowing everyone that has interactions daily with my kids. The children have great relationships with the teachers and you can see the bonds they have with them. The meals are different every day, each child has a cubby space for their own items and the teachers are very personable it makes you feel as though you are leaving them at a close friends house and not a daycare/preschool. When you have a concern they listen or if there is a and illness (which is at any school setting) going around they give a heads up and if a fever or other issue pops up they call and expect a timely pick up to ensure they safety of not only your child but to ensure that the others are protected as well. They use phrases like "Not nice" or "No thank you" when the kids do something they shouldn't. When they are acting out they are talked to and the situation is handled in an appropriate manner. If have. There are some children that have been there since infancy and are now in the preschool room and become attached to certain teachers so I have also seen firsthand on 2 separate occasions when a child is just having a bad day and is uncontrollably upset because their parent left and they wanted to stay with them. In a case like this the teachers all came together to get the child to the teacher they were most comfortable with and after just holding the child for a few minutes or braiding a little girls hair gave them enough time to talk it through to where they had calmed down and then be able to return to their class room. Each age group has their own playground with age appropriate toys and scheduled playtime. In the classrooms the teachers sit on the ground with the kids, sing songs and read books with them. They have a schedule with breakfasts, lunches, free time, outside time, art time, a librarian comes to read stories to them. The class sizes a small with I LOVE!!!! My oldest just started Kindergarten and they Work with me to make sure that everything was put in to place so transportation would be put in place. I installed my own car seat into their van and they totally understand and respect my rules. If I have any concerns or questions I can make sure they are known and know that they are being addressed. I have first hand seen the toys being sprayed down and cleaned. There are cameras inside of the facility. I could continue to list all of the things that I love about this place but I would have to write a book. If you are looking for a place that has people who genuinely care for the children as if they were their own this place is awesome. I honestly could not ask for a better group of women to trust my children with.

My 4 1/2 year old son has been going to Children's Choice (Los Coches location) since he was an infant, and the experience has been very enriching for him. The teachers are great - and they do so many fun and creative activities with the kids. I'll actually be a little sad when my son leaves to go to Kindergarten next year!
